Are an educator or work in a school that would like to infuse more process art experiences into the classroom? Rachel and Nicole are available to lead Professional Development Workshops for staff or teach specialists classes at your school.

Professional Development Workshops

  • Wanting to include more process art and sensory play into your curriculum? Nicole and Rachel are excited to lead workshops for your staff, either in-person locally, or virtually. We will work with you to develop a presentation which fits your staffs’ needs.

  • After you contact us, we’ll set up a phone call or video conference to discuss what you’re looking for. We’ll work with you to design a hands-on and interactive workshop that keeps your staff engaged while learning.

  • Pricing is dependent upon the length of the presentation, whether it’s local or virtual, the size of your staff, and materials needed. Workshops start at $500.

  • If COVID rates are high in your area, we may ask participants at in-person workshops to mask. We are also happy to mask if that is your preference. We ask that attendees follow CDC guidelines.

Toddler and Preschool Specialist Classes

  • Are you a Boston area school looking for specialists to lead process art and sensory play workshops or classes for your students ages 18 months to 6 years old? Contact us about leading one-time or multi-class sessions at your school!

  • We’ll work with you to design a one-time or multi-class session for your students. We’ll plan engaging process art and sensory play that is age appropriate and keeps kids learning. Backyartists can provide materials for an additional fee, or can utilize materials from your school.

  • Pricing is dependent upon your location, number of students, materials needed, and the number of classes.

  • How long is each class?

    For children ages 18 mos to 3 years we typically offer 30 minute classes. For children ages 4-6 years, classes can be extended to 45 minutes.

    How long will Backyartists be at my school?

    We will arrive 30-45 minutes prior to the first class to set-up, will need 15 minutes in between classes to reset the space and materials, and will need 30 minutes at the end to clean-up.

  • We are happy to follow your school’s policy around masking. We ask that schools follow CDC guidelines.
