Wednesday Afternoon Art Explorers (for children ages 4-7)
Spring Session runs for 7 weeks from April 28th through June 12th. If Backyartists needs to cancel a class for inclement weather, makeups will be during the week of June 17th.
Each seven week session, we’ll engage in open-ended art activities centered around a theme. This session's theme will be “Spring Fling.” Projects will be spring themed, and may include decorating flower vases and making flower suncatchers.
Process art (focused on the process of creating, and exploring materials and techniques, rather than on the finished product) is the foundation for all of our work at the Backyartists Art Studio.
These classes are for children ages 4-7 and are drop-off optional (caregivers are welcome to stay or drop off). Enrollment limited to 8 and classes are 1 hour each for 7 weeks.
Class Policies:
Advance registration is required for all class series.
For ongoing class series: late registration (joining a class after the series has begun) is possible on a space-available basis prior to the third week.
Cancellation and Refunds/Fees
Class/program fee includes all materials.
Class/program fee is due upon registration and is required in order to guarantee your child's spot.
You may cancel your registration for a class before it begins for a full refund, less a processing fee of $25.00.
You may withdraw from an ongoing class after the first week. A refund, less a fee for the class attended and a $25.00 processing fee, will be given.
No refund will be given for withdrawal from an ongoing class series after the second class begins.
If Backyartists needs to cancel a class due to inclement weather or illness, we will attempt to contact you with as much advance notice as possible. We will schedule a makeup class.
There are no makeup classes if your child is unable to attend.
Sibling discount: If you are registering more than one sibling in the same semester, enter SIBLING in the Coupon Code field for a 10% discount.
